Well, if you can't sell it and don't have time to mod it you can either donate it to charity, play it as is, or chop it up for kindling.

I say put it up on eBay. After all one mans beat up guitar is another mans future guitar project. It just might be something someone is looking for; just start off at a low bid price and see how it goes.

I am one person who loves to fix up beat up Squiers. There are plenty of people who do the same thing. I agree with you.

I just made fifty buck on a fixer upper. So I say sell it cheap and let someone like me bring it back to life for someone who can't afford to pay full price. I'll get into the hands of someone who wants to learn and needs a first guitar. Besides it keeps me busy and I like doing the work.

Funny you should say that. I love fixing them up because it keeps my mind off other things. I would not buy anything expensive because I just can't afford it.

Same here I don't have a lot to spend, so I try to find the cheapest guitar I can find that I think I can fix up.

Get a live gig and smash it on stage at the end of your set.

At the very least do something good with it, don't just destroy it. It was something that brought you alot of enjoyment so pay it forward. Ask a teacher or a local minister or someone like that and they may know a kid from a deserving family that would love the hell out of that thing.

You'll feel better knowing it went to a good home. 8)
