what do you mean? how small are these scratches?
a soft case should protect against scratches and small dings, while a hard-case will offer total protection. personally i think gig bags are completely useless.
musician's friend sells tweed hard cases for like $50, i've never bought one, so i can't be too sure of the quality.

It's possible that the scratches are from the clasps that attach the case latches etc. to the case. look inside the case and feel the latch anchors- small bent over metal points ' like the back side of a staple. If they arent flattened down completely' below the surface of the cases inside', they will cause scratching.

Dude, sorry about the scratches but have you seen the Police gear lately. I wouldn't worry. It adds character.

Anyway, I have a Korean Squire I got at Guitar center about 7 years ago. Does anyone know any history on it? I think the Japaneese ones are worth more. I was playing a Mexican this weekend and noticed a very thick neck. I could barely play it. It didn't feel or sound too good.

I play my Squire every day and it stays in tune. The pickups are not too good but you can't really tell on the POD unless I'm distorting a lot then you can't really make out the notes. I want to put a new pickup in it but I'm sacred to mess it up.

Let me know what you think or who I should talk to. I'm new here.

Thanks,
