Hi everyone,

I just got this j5 squier last month from my fender distributor here in Bangkok, Thailand.
I'm not a big fan of john 5 but his guitar looks amazing. I don't play metal but I'm gonna swap some jazz sounding pickups in it and I already modified the circuit from 2 volume to 1 volume and 1 tone :)

I have to show you guys the neck of this guitar. It's incredible for a Squier :)
That's the main reason why I bought this tele with out question.
This is my first Squier. Is this a rare bird?

Its a 1-piece maple neck and it just that piece of wood and maybe the way they cut it they call it a flame neck . Looks like a nice squire just the luck of the draw

My tele has the same neck, I think goodinbed is right, you just got lucky. Looks sweet though... Love the John5 tele

Its not a 1 piece maple neck, technically its a 2 piece Maple neck/rosewood fingerboard.

Yes some Squiers have really nice Flame on the neck. Here is the flame on mine
