Awesome guitar. Just wondering why "Classic Vibe" sticker is plastered directly on there? Is there a plastic film affixed I can pull off? Also, I see a lot of scrapes on the pickguard already when I hold it up to the light - kinda looks like it has a plastic film but I'm not sure.

Also, where is best place to get replacement pickguard? How do I know it will fit? I have the sunburst and was thinking white pearloid. Thanks.

Look close. A plastic film is pretty obvious.

Not really. Nothing came up when I tried to pick/scrape at the tip. Guess I have to try a little harder.

The sticker is on a very thin layer of self-adhesive plastic. It all comes off.

When I owned a Classic Vibe, mine has a plastic film. Was your guitar bought brand new? Was it a floor demo? In either case, the vibe sticker may have been carefully removed, the film taken off, then reapplied to the pickgard for show purposes.

Try Goo Gone. Soak the sticker for about 10 minutes then carefully remove the sticker.

Yes, there's plastic film. I know we're going round and round on this one.

CR I like the look of your Tele. :) Maybe I will leave my plastic film on instead.
