squier this summer didn't come out with any new guitars :( and i'm not satisfied with the 2011 squier guitar line (i don't really like what they did with the squier jag and jazzmaster and these are two of my favourite guitars) i'll tell ya i prefer the jagmaster look over the new jaguar and jazzmaster any old time... though on the other side the basses are pretty amazing... why is squier concentrating more on their bass line?

It's all about sales numbers. Look around for some vintage used ones. You never know what you might find.

yeah but i'll never find another squier jazzmaster and i was hoping for a new model to compensate the errors of the first one... i guess i'll stick to loving the jagmaster... especially with its conversion neck and all it makes a pretty amazing instrument... it definately needs new finishes...

Paint is easy. We have someone on the forum that has them painted at a motorcycle shop.

I'm not sure what you are looking for but I like the Vintage Modified Jazzmaster in Butterscotch Blonde Maple. At least it is departure from the normal rosewood neck sunburst body. It would be even better in Ash clear coat. I like to see wood.

Either way 2012 is right around the corner.

Hang in there,

true maybe i could do that paint in an autoshop... i understand i like the finish on the jazzmaster too but that strat jack ruins it... when i buy a guitar i want it to be about looks and sound... believe me when i heard about the squier jazzmaster i was ready to jump to the music store and get one until i saw it
