I just can't think of any reason why someone would remove the neckplate and serial number and thus devaluing this unless maybe someone was building a partscaster and picked up an E series neck?

I have Fender Squier Precision Bass Made in Japan serial number P011064
in real cool all black (The scratch plate is all black too so that may not be original i have been told)

Is there any way of valuing this guitar?

Thanks :)

You just have to look at others that are being sold with similar serial numbers and age.

By the way, that strat that was put up in June was NOT an E series MIJ. The tuners alone should have given it away.....or at least not one of the more expensive ones. I have a Fuji Gen factory MIJ Squier and the tuners say Fender Japan on them and aren't those cheap things. Also, the "Stamp" looks nothing like that. The Fuji Gen MIJ Squiers are actually worth money...including the E series. Mine is an 87 and it is one of the best made guitars I have ever owned or played.
