So I have a Tele that I want to get rid of. It's mainly just got the scratches on the pickguard from everyday playing.

What is the best way to sell something like this??

Try posting it online like on Craigslist or (gasp) ebay. Just remember they charge you for posting so if it not worth $100 probably better to donate or trade in.

I have a Crate amp I can't get rid of simply because it's not worth anything. So I have it around to for effects and dime it. Stuff I wouldn't do with my Vox.

I hope you decide to keep it and get another guitar. You can never have enough guitars. :D

Craigslist is your best bet.

I do craigslist all the time both buying and selling. You have to be willing to deal with the fact that 80% of people will flake on you and you have to figure out where and when you can both meet. If you don't want to deal with all that, many guitar stores will take it as a trade in. Figure out what they sell your guitar for used....they give you half that amount (ball park).
