When I heard about the Squier Jazzmaster I was excited...when I didn't see the whammy bar...I was disappointed...Thats what made the Jazzmaster sound.....Then the jaguar with humbuckers...BLASPHEMY

I made a couple of additional updates. Aged white tips on the switch & trem and replaced the bridge with a Schaller Roller Bridge. The strings high e string was really close to the edge of the fretboard, and the new bridge allows you to adjust string spacing. Now the spacing is perfect! :)

Looks nice! I've thought about a similiar thing and adding P-90s. I wish those
vintage tuners were still standard issue.

I certainly appreciate the fab work you did..no small task indeed ! However, I bought the VM Jazz because of the Mods. If it came with the the Trem bar and other switches..I would have personally left it alone. The basic sound and functionality of the Stacked pots were perfect for me...actually..I can't beleive they made one like this..they designed it perfect for players like me. But I know..for many, it's not 'Thee' Jazzmaster' guitar or what is believed to be what a Jazzmaster should be.

But I have to say..I love those Duncan pups..they sound so good to my ears...I'm really glad that I found this guitar by chance. Here's mine in action over the 4th Of July Weekend :P
