I bought one and like it better than my Fender Mexican Standard. I can't believe I only paid $160 for it.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE MINE. IT IS 1999 MADE IN INDONESIA, VINTAGE WHITE, MAPLE FRETBOARD, VINTAGE SADDLES, 21-FRETS, BUT ALL FENDER SAID WAS THAT IT IS SOLID HARDWOOD, SO I KNOW IT IS NOT AGATHIS LIKE THE NEW SQUIER'S. I ALSO CANNOT TELL IF THE PUPS ARE ALNICO MAGNETS OR CHEAPER PUPS LIKE THE AFFINITY.

I own this 2004 Squire Deluxe series Satin Trans Fat Strat. It has a solid mahogany body, Duncan designed pickups which the single coils have alnico magnets. It is a nice guitar that cost me $140 used. It is in mint condition. It is a great guitar for the money. The upgrades I have made include a Floyd Rose tremelo bar, and Fender vol/tone knobs. Worth every penny!!
FMT stands for Flamed maple top
QMT = quilted maple top
Both are part of the Deluxe series. The headstock says Standard, but in Frontline, it is in the Deluxe series section.

Wow! That's a great looking Squier. I've never seen one like it. I bet it sounds as good as it looks!
