I took the sticker off my anodized pickguard today. The sticker left a sticky film that hot water on a towel wouldn't take off. Goo Gone got everything off and there is absolutely no remnants or trace that a sticker was ever on the pickguard. 8)

I got my little bottle of Goo Gone at Dollar Tree. I wouldn't use it on plastic since it can discolor it and take the finish off. Had that happen before on a cool vintage Fisher Price tape player from 1980. :(

Cheers and happy playin'.

Ha! There's someone on here with the same exact problem. He said he tried everything and could still see a mark from the sticker.

Cheers!
