Hi guys... I have a strat affinity black finished! I have this little problem every time I play the third string goes out of tune, but happens every single time.

I've tried different brands of strings, I recently change the gauge of strings and calibrate (I'm not sure if it's call like this, sorry english isn't my language) it...

Would be perfect if someone could help me... but I mean PERFECT!

Tuners are only one part of the tuning system...but the G String is the most senitive on an electric because it is unwound.

It could be a number of reasons. It could be a faulty tuner. It could be a loose saddle. It could be the string slot on the nut is not cut correctly.

I know for me it was a faulty tuner. You could try "Nut Sauce" or graphite on the nut for lubrication and that may correct it as well.

I suggest the following steps:
1. Check the saddle and make sure it is not loose
2. If not that, then the graphite
3. If not that, new tuners

You could also take it into the shop and let them figure out the issue, but where is the fun in that?
