I wish I had a crystal ball to tell me what Squier will be releasing at the NAMM Show in January. I hope it isn't just the game controller, though good for the company, because of how popular Rock Band is... It does nothing for a real guitar player. I would love to see more colors in the Classic Vibe line and new upper end models as long as they don't dramatically raise the price due to the popularity of the product line. There is a price point that makes Squier undesirable. Right now our love of these guitars is tied to price point. I hope that doesn't change.

Have you noticed that Rondomusic.com pricing has gone up? They have models now close to if not $700. To me, what made the Agile guitar special was the quality for around $350. Though I applaud how fast they bring new models to market, they really don't sell a lot of people when the prices go way up. Also, they are carrying way more 7 and 8 string guitars.. I think the only people who play them are metal players, because I don't know anyone who plays them and historically have never known anyone who plays more than a 6 string, with the exception of a 12 string electric.

Don't worry, Fender knows it's entry level guitars are very important and will keep them affordable. I'm sure NAMM will be full of surprises but I'm more happy with my older guitar. We don't need the latest gadget to play music from the heart.

There are a lot of places on the internet that sell guitars at good prices and good service. Check out Sam Ash or Guitar Center/Musician's Friend.

Keep practicing!

Just make a Squier with an adult-sized nut width, Fender!

I read somewhere online that there is going to be a Vintage modified Jazzmaster, and vintage modified Jaguar HH. also a Jaguar bass if I remember rightly. If this is the case, then I will be interested to check the jazzmaster out :)

Edit: there is a thread about the jazzmaster and jaguar here I didn't notice it before
