squierguitars.com lists the color as fiesta red, im sure your catalog lists it as fiesta red, musicians friend is listing it as fiesta red, so are other retailers. I suggest you fix it before you have alot of unhappy customers on your hands.

the guitar is obviously Dakota Red or even Torino Red....the same exact red that squiers always come in.

if you actually made a 99 dollar fiesta red strat that I could mod how i want would be completely awesome since its such a sweet color. It's much more rare to find a fiesta red anything guitar or bass than dakota or torino. Im not just basing my point on internet photos, i have seen about 6 of them at my local guitar center and mom and pop stores and they just aren't fiesta red.

its much more orange then the Bullets you are putting out

You need to calibrate your monitor: it's nothing but Daphne blue on my calibrated Samsung.

Also, the color that most people call "Fiesta Red" (that Campbell's tomato soup thing) is actualy faded Fiesta Red. The color was very bright red when sprayed, but faded pretty quickly to the soup orange we all know. Fulfilling the vintage dreams of their customers, Fender painted a lot of guitars (the California Series, for example) in the "faded" color and called it Fiesta Red, thereby reinformcing the idea that Fiesta Red meant tomato soup orange.

It may be that this color is what real vintage Fiesta Red looked like when it was fresh.

Some of Squiers colors are a little bit different than the Fender colors at times, and I think its most likely because they are not using the exact same paints. Fender either mixes their own, or has their paint mixed and sent to Fender factories. Squiers are made to Fender specs and designs, but are made in factories that are under contract with Fender to make them, and these factories are overseas and oftentimes not ownewd by Fender. I think that these factories do not use the same exact paints that Fender uses since they are not Fender factories, and thats how you get these slightly different colored Squiers. The Vintage Blonde Teles are more like faded Yellow or bannana pudding colored, and then the other variances you mentioned as well...
