I would love to see Squier to a CV 70's Strat.

I would also like to see CV's in more colors. Daphne Blue, Fiesta Red, Hot Rod Red. I see these colors on the low end bullets, but they aren't on the CV models.

I would also like to see the UK marketed Simon Neil Strat unbranded and put in the CV 60's line up. It is a 60's Strat in Fiesta Red. That should be easy. You already make it, just take his name off the headstock and sell it in the USA....

Thank you for listing.

TJ

PS. We like models with maple necks... Squier makes a great maple neck and China is full of maple trees. :-)

Two ideas.

1. A Squier Jazzmaster
2. A brand new Squier model with no Fender equivalent

On the second point, I think it would be great to give Squier a model that is theirs alone. The Jagmaster does this to an extent, but I'm talking about an all new guitar, bearing a Fender/Squier headstock, but otherwise new.

For example:

2011 Squier Palmetto
Shortscale, off-set, single-cut (think offset Tele)
Rosewood board with block inlays
Single wide-Range HB in the middle position
Vol/Tone
Body color options: Walnut, Yellow, White

After putting together my last project guitar, I'd like to see a Basswood Tele like the James Burton Model.

Wow, that is an amazing guitar. Three pickups. What did you use?

Naw, that isn't my guitar. That's the Fender James Burton Tele model guitar. Expensive bugger. It would be cool to see something with similar specs from Squier. Even if it wasn't exactly the same paint job.

This is the project I put together:

It's a Basswood body with a Squier CV-60's neck on it. The pickups are:

Neck: Benson Custom Handwound 6.4k
Middle: Lace Sensor silver
Bridge: Benson Custom Handwound 7.0k

The Basswood body REALLY brought out the flavor of the pickups like no other guitar I've had them in. It's an amazing difference. It may be a soft and lightweight wood, but man does it sound awesome. All the easier to end up with a natural relic guitar as well. 8)

If you don't mind me asking... Where did you get the CV Rosewood neck and how much did you have to pay? I have a CV 60's Strat myself and love the neck.. Would love to build a guitar with that neck if I could find a place to buy one.

I bought it off ebay. I paid $80 for it. Don't see too many on there, but keep checking from time to time, you might see one pop up. If you go that route, be sure to ask if the neck is straight, the condition of the frets (any buzzes, new, worn, etc..), any other problems, etc.. Ask away, it becomes your protection if the neck happens to not be as described.

Why not offering Squier versions of the EC and JB signature models? Tom Delonge, Hank Marvin, Mike Dirnt, Frank Bello and other Fender artists had their own Squier signature models. Squier EC and JB Strats would be a real must for Clapton and Beck fans who didn't want to spend lots of money for an expensive Fender Artist Signature Series guitar.

I would lve to see a Squier HM series re-issue. I used to have a HM III. Awesome guitar. Only change would be the body made from Alder.

I'd like to see an SH Tele with a whammy bar, as from a Strat. I think that would be a very versatile option that I know I, at least, would find attractive. Another option would be a Squier Blacktop series, I'd like that.

How about a series of Tele's that have Bigsby? The one they sold at Guitar Center a few months back was wildly popular and sold out quick.
