Does anyone have any tips on how to string the top loading bridge.
I am having a hard time getting the string end to slide up in to the saddles. Thanks Stu

Stu: I'm not sure what you mean... is it a regular affinity bridge with the strings entering through the back of the guitar? I'm guessing that it is and I'm also guessing that the intonation screw is in the way... push the saddle back against the spring so that you can see through the guitar and then thread the string thru it. I hope this helped.

Hey gomania16, thanks for the reply. It is not a through the body set up.
The strings go through the chrome plate and up under the saddles, it is not easy to get them to slide up through the slots in the saddles. I know I sound like a wimp, I have been a pro musician for 50 years, this is the first time I have run into a guitar that gave me a hard time with string changing. Stu

I've got an Affinity and I think I know exactly what your talking about.

Here's what I do: I bend the end of the string to give it a slight J-shape ( kind of like a fishhook ) then try to feed it through. The bend part of the string gets clipped off anyway...

It's a real pain in the neck with the thin strings...but what else can you do?
