I happen to have that one and it is nice. I like it alot. But make sure you check it out completely before you leave the store. It turns out that mine makes a crackling sound in one of the tone controls. If you get it at a lower price than 200 you will be real happy. You should treat the guitar salesman like a car dealer. I didn't have the nerve to bargain the price with the guy but I did get 10 percent off due to a sale. However if I would have gotten it on Black Friday (the day after Thanksgiving) I could've gotten it for 20% off, that would be 160 which is less than an Affinity Telecaster. So I would guess that if the sales guy/gal thought you were a real hard, unnegotiable buyer you might be able to get it at 20% off. Partly due to the fact that a sale is better than no sale and other retailers may do it for you instead. Don't forget to flaunt the other stores you can got to. If they make a sale in just a little time then they are free to harass other people, so go when it's busy. Just thought I might say that stuff. I hope you get a good deal.

Thanks, I was thinking about the Delux Tele. And I didn't know you could get them under 200, yet another plus. Next time I go to my Grandma's I'll stop by the Guitar Center in Tallahassee and check it out.

I'd never looked on craigslist that was awesome.

But I have another question. I barely do any altering to any of my guitars unless its absolutely necessary. So what would be the best Squier out of the box with no adjustments. Any kind now. Still realy like the Deluxe Tele though

Ok that's fine, but I was just reading about how people had to change pickups and everything.

Thanks
