Hi all
Just wanted to introduce myself. I'm new to the forum and the whole world of Fenders/Squiers. However, I've just recently purchased an 85 MIJ Squier Contempory Stratocaster Serial No A023124, maple necked, rosewood boarded, with vintage humbucker/humbucker and I'm absolutely blown away with her looks and sound. (I'd love to post some pics but, as I'm new to this forum, I don't know how to post images on here yet).

However, the body is all black with black/cream lettered volume and tone knobs. I just wondered if it might look better if I changed the creamy white knob on the top of the three way pick-up selector switch to black? I noticed that the plastic knob just screws onto this switch so it would be simple to try. I would be grateful if anyone could suggest where I might get such a black knob from or indeed any other spare parts for this Squier if I needed any?

Welcome to the forum Barry sounds like you got a nice axe and as far as the changes you are considering do what you want. I think any Fender knobs will fit those pots.

Welcome to the forums! You may want to make sure its not one of the MIJ Squiers that some people pay a lot of money for sometimes before doing any sort of modding...

As far as parts for import guitars like Squiers, GuitarFetish.com is always a good place to start looking.
