I own Squier Stratocaster Pro Tone Series and I like geavy gauge strings.
Earlier I used GHS Boomers GBH size (12-52) and tuned half step down.
Now I use Fender flatwounds (12-52) and tune whole step down, because with these strings tension on whole step down is greater than with GHS half step down.
I would like to use standard E tuning...
Can I place 12-52 Fender Flatwound strings on my strat on standard tuning? Will that kill guitars neck or no? :?
Thanks.

don't think it would hurt any, you might have to adjust your truss rod a bit, but if you setup your bridge with the right spring tension and intonation you should be good
