I went to my local Guitar Center today to get a Pignose 7-100 amp. As soon as I walked in I seen a Squier Classic Vibe 50. I picked it up and pluged it in. A salesman asked me if I liked it. I said do you have anymore in back because this one is scratched on the upper horn. He said let me check. A 1/2 later he came back and told me it was the only one he had. And since it was scratched he would let me have it for $279. I told him to let me think about it. Another 1/2 hour later he walked by and I said will you take 250 for it out the door? And he said noway. THat was the lowest he could go. I tried 260.. nope! So I said I would take it only if it was 279 out the door no tax. So I walked out with it. Here is a picture. I haven't even cleaned it up yet. Love the guitar. Would you guys take that deal? A scratched guitar for 70 dollars off? I didnt take a picture of the scratch but I will soon.

I'd take a scratched guitar for $70 anytime if I was going to buy one anyway. I really like those classic vibe Strats. :)

Wow, where did you get a CV 60's strat for $200? That is a steal if it is the current model Classic Vibe. I have the 50's and 60's model Tele and they are as well made as an American Tele... for sure.

I just happened to be looking on craigslist and found it. I contacted the guy, he sent me pictures and I bought it. He also threw in a gig bag, and a Vox AC30 amplug! Those amplugs sell for $40.00. Actually, he wanted $175 for the guitar and stuff and he shipped it to me for $25 extra. The guitar was in excellent shape.
