Is the length of a Squier Strat Affinity small than a Fender Strat? I think I heard they're lighter. I was just wonder if the dimensions are different.
Thanks.

I'm not completely 100% sure but I believe the difference between the Affinities and other Strats is that they are thinner...something like around 1.5" instead of the more traditional 1.75 (but don't quote me on that). I do believe the length however is the same...or pretty close at least. I will say that I do know the Bullets are also much thinner however the Standards and the other high end Squiers all seem to have a pretty standard size body.

Anyways, hopefully someone will pop in here with a more informed opinion but I believe the Affinities are just thinner.

Peace,
Jim

That's true. My Affinity is thinner than a Standard Squier or Fender. Unfortunately that means that I can't replace the trem block with something nicer.
