i had the squier and HATED it to no end so i finally just sold it and picked this up for $800.00 but if you're on a budget i'd get it and change out the pickups to something a bit better

What kind is that guitar exactly? It looks so cool. How does it sound? (I'm not familiar with the differences between solid body guitars and semi hollow or the ones with the 'f' holes in them). The Squier I have now is good for practice and learning, but if I wanted to get a better guitar when I get better at playing, I'm sort of shopping around now.

How long ago did you have it? Are sure you had the Classic Vibe? They have only been out since Late Jan/Feb. Are you talking about this one instead of the new thinline? They are completely different guitars

To the Op I had the Classic Vibe 50s model and it was an excellent tele, no need for pickup change. The CV pickups are made in the same factory as Toneriders which cost about 100 bucks a set, if that gives you any indication of the quality of the pickups. If the thinline is anything like the 50s model I'm pretty sure it is just as awesome

Hi people.Just got here and wanted to tell you about this guitar if you don't mind. It is a copy of the 69 semi hollow fender . I have been playing this guitar for that last couple of weeks at the store, loved it and have been a new owner for the past three days.Sweet!! Same pickups as the fender, three saddle bridge, strings through back in there own barrels the only thing that might be different are the tuners. Am a little older and have had a few guitars and this one is really nice sounding. Would have loved to play both the squier and fender side by side. I did play other fender teles but like the sound of this one the best. Am one happy camper. Let you know in a couple of weeks how I feel about this beauty. Calling mine "Amber"

I have the old one which is the "Vintage Modified" version. It is a great guitar.
Alder body, shoreline gold, great neck w/ rosewood board (I much prefer rw over maple), 6-saddle bridge (I am not a fan of the 3-saddle), low neck radius (great for playing blues).
Although, I did upgrade the pups to some used Fender Tele MIA Std that I got for $30.

Hi people. Have had my guitar for a couple of weeks now.CV thinline tele.I am quite happy with my new love.. In my hands this guitar sounds great. Tried other teles, and other styles and makes of guitars. This one just sang to me. "Take me I'm yours". There was nicer sounding guitars at the store but for the money and ESPECIALLY the sound in my hands this guitar is great. I will let you know in a few months how I feel. I think "Amber" and I will be having a long term love affair. Also bought myself a blues deluxe to play "Amber" through. What a great sound I am getting from this combo, cya, Mess
