And no, not mainly cause of the imagery, but cause of the pickups. H/S/S, thats a good combination that I'd like to have.
What'do ya reckon??The jaguar or this awesome guitar??

Looks are one thing, but you may want to try to play one before buying one if possible....

So true, looks are one thing, but Like bowlfreshener has said, I would try playing one first. This would let you know how it feels and then worry about sound. As you already know. lol.

You can always change the PUPS and the rest if necessary later.

Good luck Mate.

Riley,

I am glad you are still debating playing. I like the looks of the Obey but did not like the sound of the Stratocaster. I ended up with a CV 60 Stratocaster when I bought a guitar last year. Like I always say play before you play. With your particular musical taste, I think you may like the Jaguar better for its tone. Let your ears and hands help you decide, the eyes alone can decieve.

The graphics on this guitar are just a little too "busy" for my tastes, so I personally would go for the Jaguar. Just my 2 cents.

I probably will get that if my parents dont let me get the jaguar.
