No up close pics, but its the one in the center...6 Squiers, though one was modded to an Esquire, and the one on the far right is a Douglas Tele.

I also have other 4 SX Teles and one of the Xaviere offsets which are not pictured...

Unless you plan on modding, I do not recommend keeping SX guitars stock. The wiring is not right...the type of pots that should be for tone are used for volume, the type of pots that should be used for volume are used for tone. Grounding was unusually done to say the least, and one of the bridge pickups fell apart upon removal. All the pickups and electronics on the SXs have been swapped out cause they just were lacking and to correct the mistakes made in ALL guitars I have bought from Rondo (close to 10), whether it was an SX or Douglas...Also with the SX guitars, I had to get new saddles for the bridge as it would not intonate properly with the stock saddles...I changed the PUs in the Douglas too for the same issues as the SXs, but the saddles on the Douglas bridge are what came stock with it cause its a Callaham Tele bridge...

If you do not plan on modding immediately, or just want to keep it stock entirely, I recommend either the Squier or Xaviere Guitars. Everything is still stock on those guitar because nothing needs to be corrected or sounds bland...Not to mention by the time I got done modding my SX STLs, the final price was around what a stock Squier Standard series or Xaviere guitar would cost. With the exception of a candy apple red STL I got when they were closing out the old headstock design for $80!

As far as playability out of the box...They were all equal, in that they all required some sort of tweaking...some maybe more than others, but they all needed to get the intonation and action adjusted. Maybe a slight truss rod tweak on a couple. Maybe a little fret sprout on some, which I took care of with some needle files...Also, the SXs and Xavieres have finished necks, and the Squiers Standard and Black & Chrome necks are unfinished. Of course you can always remove the finish from the SX and Xaviere necks, but it just depends on how involved you want to get...

Sorry I don't have more pics of my guitar, but I hope I was able to help a bit...

Below are a few photos of my Squier Black & Chrome. I recently changed the pickguard to a black one. I changed the pickups to GFS Texas Blues; the stock ones were okay but I wanted a little more bite. The quality and setup was excellent out of the box...no problems. I don't have any experience with SX or Xavierre Teles.

Thanks for the pics...I am having a hard time deciding between the Black and Chrome or the Antuiqeburst. Just for my info,, what didn't you like about the mirrorred pickguard??Also, besides cosmetics,,how does it play for you?

I didn't have a problem with the pickguard. I have a J5 Tele also and didn't want 2 Teles with chrome pickguards. It has always played fine even before I changed the pickups and added the 4-way switch. The setup was good and the neck was smooth...no rough frets. The necks on my Affinity Teles are also very smooth, especially for such inexpensive guitars. Meanwhile, I'm still scraping overspray off the frets of my more expensive Baja Tele. My favorites:

Squier: 1) J5; 2) CV 50s; 3) Squier Standard; 4) Affinity
Fender: 1) Baja; 2) Deluxe Blackout; 3) Highway One
