Okay everytine I need to use the whammy bar for a dive bomb, or just for a wide vibrato or hamronic dive bombs or reverse harmonic dive bombs; I have to push down on the damn thing very hard hard. Just to use a little bit i have to push pretty hard on it.

Could it be that the springs are to tight and if so how do I adjsut the spusension of them.

Anything would be a great help. And Is it better to have all 5 springs in there a or jsut a have 3.

If you can use 3 without the bridge raising up at some weird angle, then try 3, as less springs will make you use less force to use the whammy bar...If there is screw thread left on the screws on the claw holding the springs, you can tighten that up as well and you may be able to use just 3 springs...I've seen anywhere from 2-5 springs used, its all about what feels and works best for you.

Also, while you have the back cover off, I would give a few test dives with the trem to make sure the trem is not coming into contact with any of the trem cavity walls...I mean it should have enough clearance since all those guitars come with similar bridges, but mistakes do happen...so make sure there is not something physically in the way of the trem moving properly...that is if you haven't done this already. If the trem cavity is issue free, mess around with different spring amounts and spring claw distances until you find a spot you like...
