Hello, I have a Korean Squire Showmaster/ Reverse headstock guitar and never got a manual for it, since I bought it new/but of the rack in a music store. I have searched the Fender websites and Google to try to find anything on this model and or an online manual with no luck, its easy to find reference to this guitar online for other articles, etc but zippo on specs or manual?

Also, I hear the Showmaster referred to as a Custom/Shop guitar? What are they referring to?

My main concern is the first string "E" will not play any note other than a single (preset) note no matter which fret you press?? Never seen this in a guitar before. I had a music shop replace a string and have not played it since getting it back over a year ago from the shop and now I can not get it to play any note with the first string, the others all work?? Is there some lock that is preventing it from moving or playing a note in a preset lockdown or something? Any help appreciated..

Thanks! :?:

A guitar is naturally a chromatic instrument - fretting up the board changes the note. Can't think of anything that would cause it to play the same note regardless of where on the fretboard the string is pressed. Hot air rises, gravity makes things fall down, and increasing tension on a string results in a higher note.

It DOES NOT CHANGE THE SOUND at each fret, Its like the Twilight Zone, but its true? Could it be the tremelo? or a lock, I am not familiar with this guitar and have no manual, thus in limbo on this.
