My family is going to China soon. Does anyone know where the Squire factory is & whether they give tours?

Thanks

I really doubt you'll be able to go on a tour, but you never know...

Ya I don't know about the tours either but There are a few Artist Series Guitars that are not available in the states. one inparticular resembles a hendrix strat but it's for an Indonesian Guitarist that's very popular 8)

The Sham Kamikaze (Hendrix-like) is only availble in Malaysia.
Just like the O-Larn is available only in Thailand, and the Simon Neil in Europe.

Research Wikipedia under Squier or Fender Strat. The serial number section tells where the factories are. Be careful wandering around a foreign country. Their laws and customs are different. I'm sure if you know the language they will allow you to look around a bit.

It might happen, but I don't even think Fender offers factory tours on a regular basis to us non-celebrity, non-famous types, unless you enroll in something like Fender University...so I highly doubt this is going to happen, as you are not the first person who wanted to take a tour of a Squier factory, but I have yet to hear from anyone who has actually been...
