As soon as my camera turns up (been missing for a while) I'll show you more recent picks of my CV 60. It has been cosmetically modified with parchment white plastic bits and 3 ply WBW parchment pick guard. There could be another cosmetic change in the near future.

Here is what it looked like before the modification:

Absolutely a beautiful guitar to play.

It's a Squier X-115 Blue Heat, leftovers from the Dearmond factory.
Big, Bad, Rockabilly sickness hollowbody lovin.....
HTF ....especially the Blue Heat, they did have a White Heat model w/ black body and white flames a little more common, , and a natural, that's all I think...(that I am aware of). This thing is sick....I only have one hollowbody and this is it.

I would play all three, and that should tell you. If you like the sound, and feel, you will know.
Looks are important, but you can change the look of any guitar.
I would like to get a Jagmaster one of these days.
:D 8) 8) 8) 8) 8)
It's all up to you .

Just wanted to show my latest finished Squier project.

Image

Image

It's a 2001 Stagemaster neck-through. When I bought it, someone had installed a EVH D-Tuna in it. The routing job was really bad in my opinion. So I took a Squier hard trem and covered it up. I just didn't want to do any kind of plugging, fixing, refinishing ala Ceri. But then it was just this black thing on my guitar.

So I had an idea to help it signify the band. I found this pewter shark pin on ebay, clipped and filed the pins off it and super-glued it on the trem plate. Then to give it a little more, I put some Chickenhead knobs to give it kind of a shark-tooth look. I'm happy with the results.

The pickups are Dimarzio Air Norton bridge and HS-3 in the neck. Surprisingly, I like the HS-3 in the neck better than in the bridge. The previous owner also added a Volume knob that I plugged up.

Couldn't be happier with it. My camera isn't the best. It looks much better in person.

Thanks.. I really like this guitar. I can't say enough about these Stagemasters, they're just my favorite Squiers.
