Personally, I'd just go to someplace like Guitar Center and buy a new claw. If they don't have one in stock, you can easily find them on Ebay for a few bucks. Changing one isn't really that big a deal....it's only about a 10 minute job to change the claw. Just loosen the strings (maybe secure them to the neck with a capo), de-solder the ground wire, then remove the two screws that secure the claw to the body. It all comes apart fairly easily...just make a note of about where the claw was positioned when you started (how far it was screwed in). Afterwards, install the new claw...screw it in with the two screws to about where the old claw was, solder the ground wire back on, put the springs on it, then re-tune the guitar. You might need to have the guitar setup afterward but that's never a bad thing anyways :-).

If you're going to pay a tech to do it for you...and again it's not difficult at all...I'd expect to pay around $40 plus the price of the new claw (and possibly new strings and/or a setup if needed).

Hope this helps,
Jim
