I saw a picture of this guitar on a web site but it is unavailable. Does anyone know if this is a new color or no longer available cause its an old one?

Did you look on the Squier web site? If it's not there then it is not available. You will need to get a picture of it and start going to used guitar stores or pawn shops.

Another option would be to spray satin paint on a black guitar. That would requier partial disasembly and sanding the body with 320 or 400 sandpaper. You could tape around the bridge and neck so you don't have to take them off.

I did more research and believe it's a new color coming out in 2010. I ended up going with the black and chrome special edition.
Thanks for your help,
Kathy
