As mentioned in the title - got this Squier new in '86. Excellent guitar thru the years! Needing a lil TLC tho. Was wanting to upgrade to a string thru body bridge w/new style saddles without "cutting up" the body TOO much. The existing is a top-load, 3-hole mount. Does anyone know of anywhere on the www that I can get dimension specs on the Fender Squier #005-5104-000 or the Fender American Series #099-0807-100 bridge assemblies? By pics I've seen, I'm thinking that one of these two should bolt on with very minor additional drilling (Squier model has 2 additional mounting holes at the pickguard end of the bridge plate). Thanks in advance for any help ya can throw my way!! Peace! 8)
