Has anyone ever seen the Squier Starfire ES335. I saw one today it almost looked too good. I have had my eye on an X-155 but I have never seen the Starfire. It played very well. If I were shopping alone (wife) Id of picked it up.

Is there a place to look at a list of all old discontinued squier models.

I really want one of these in the Natural.

I've never seen one in person, but i've heard good things.

Which one did you see & how much was it going for?

I found a red one. The price 299.00 Honestly I am suspect of the condition
it seems to be mint. I plan to have it checked out. I like the natural also but now I have 5 red guitars.
Highway tele 1
Strat -mex
Esprit black
M-80
Squier masters tele
Black 51
now the starfire

I am hoping for a X-155 in future

So you DID get it.

Sweet...way to go, dude.
I'd pay $300 for that axe.

I do like the Red one alot too.

The Natural kind of reminds me of the cover
of Axe Victim by BeBop Deluxe, which i like.

I'll get my Star Fire someday. 8)

Congratulations.

I have a starfire (red with white trim) and I love it ! I use it for Classic rock and blues. Great guitar ! For a hollow body axe it does not have any feedback problems. (unless you want it to) lol. I play for a living and this insterment is a important part of my "go to's". Mickey Lytell

I have recently Bought a Squire X155 of the 24 series and it sounds like a Guild and feels like a Guild. I was wondering if the Squire star fire is the same way and how much does it weigh. Being its a semi Hollow. Also its not easy to get total spec.s on these guitars. And not easy to find for sale.

AFAIK, the Starfire and X-155 were both Squier's follow-up models of (originally) DeArmond or (later) Guild branded guitar models, so it's no wonder if there's a similar feel.

FMIC has never been keen to publish guitar weights, probably because it may vary quite a lot between individual instruments.
But the http://www.squierwiki.com pages have the general specs for both.
