I'm New to Guitars and I need help Identifying my Squier Strat.
Serial # CAE-0050457849e-09eb.
Also it seems to go out of tune quite easily.

I think it was made in 2000 , if you look through this forum you should be able find out what the CAE , e , 09eb stand for. Or someone with more facts replies. As for the tuning you might have to break-in your strings, or set up your hardware on it including your tremolo. Hope this helps a little.

Did you buy it separately or was it part of a "starter pack" at any point? I've heard some of the starter pack numbers are hard to get a year on. CAE is the factory that manfactured it, I think it may have been China or Korea. Other Squier SNs may begin with CY- China or IC-Indonesia, and then there are other prefixes for the Squiers made in India, and the ones in the past that have been made in Mexico, Korea, and (I think) Japan.
