Has anyone ever used or played a Squier or other with a GFS replacement body?

They are made of Paulina wood and look pretty nice. Havent had a chance to play one yet but have seen a Squier strat I like with a "GFS replacement body". I checked their website and their is lots of good info about this wood and the bodies, but has anyone had any experience with them? thanks in advance.

The last time I looked at there website they had a warning that there bodies have a wider neck pocket then Fender or Squires They are made for they necks that they sell I think Xavier is the name. They are nice looking and cheap but you have a tight fit on the neck Just looked they are 2 1/4" and Fender is 2 3/16" just checked my squire tele and it's the same

There isn't a close up of the neck pocket the pickguard would hide it anyway. But the pocket is 1/16" wider than the neck. Many people feel that a tight fitting neck is important for sustain and some would say it affects the sound too. You could shim it by 1/32" on each side to get a tight fit. which wouldn't be to tough to do. Just some advice before you order one a get disappointed. and you know what needs to be done.
