Post subject: Bought a squier mini today

so i finally bought my mini .

now i need to do :

- a paint job on it

- fitted a humbucker

- change the tuning keys

- change the hardtail bridge ( if it worth ... does fender have quality in their hardtail bridge ??? )

- have it tune by a professionnal luthier .


i want to start with the paint job .. any help on own to sand it and what kind of paint / lacquer i should use .

Paint according to the instructions on the product. Fender has some custom shop mini's you can check out on their calender before you start but there is nothing like designing your own. I wouldn't spend too much money on it so stick to the hardware and change out the pickup if you want better sound. Hopefully you will move on to a full size guitar and continue with your mini hobby as well.
