Any ideas? The person is asking $175 for it with $29 shipping and I just can't see paying that much. I was thinking closer to $100. Any thoughts on a good price for this one and IF it IS a Standard as he told me?

Here is the headstock of my Squier Standard Stratocaster:

Note the shape and the words "Standard Series" on the end. Yours looks different. Not necessarily wrong or fake, but definitely different. 8)

That is not a Squier Standard. The standards have the larger CBS headtsock, Alnico pickups, and a 2-point bridge. That is the squier that comes in the SE pack here:

Nowhere near worth 175 considering it sells new for 199 with an amp and other goodies. Save your money

thanks for the feedback becasuse told the guy i seriously doubted it was a standard and he got all angry with me. Said this guitar is worth way more than 200 and he is only selling it for 175 becasue he is moving. Thanks for confirming for me though, I hate internet swindlers.
