I just bought a used '07 Squier Limited Edition Tele (butterscotch blonde/blackguard) and beyond my changing the pickups and going to the 5 screw pickguard who makes the older vintage-style topload bridges with the brass string height adjusters? She already has the newer topload bridge with six height adjusters. I'm looking for a bridge that doesn't require the two screws in front of the bridge pickup.I am NOT doing this to forge a fake older blackguard to sell. Other than the pickups, new pots, new switch, and the previously mentioned mods everything else will stay stock.

Waya, Wilkinson makes the type of bridge your looking for. They are actually convertable meaning it can be top load or string thru the body. You want to make sure you do a little measuring as they make at least 2 different types. I have both one is for import string spacing and one is vintage american. You can find them on ebay for 20-25 bucks.

Thanks for the heads up.

I remember looking at these bridges before and liking what I saw. These bridges are the type I'm looking at to put on my Tele.

one thing I forgot to mention is you need to do your measurements in millimeters. Most sellers show a drawing with all the measurements of the bridges. string spacing, screw spacing, etc. Iknow many people use these bridges and swear by them. plus they have compensated saddles to help with intonation the one drawback to original vintage bridges.
