Hey Ya'll,
Well...I must need some SERIOUS professional help...I just bought another Squier Bullet yesterday! LOL!!! I walked in to my local Guitar Center yesterday (my first mistake obviously) to get some strings and a electronic tuner for my mother (don't ask) and as I was walking around, I found this used dark blue Indo Squier sitting in the back of the store for $59. No pictures of her yet, but what caught my attention more than anything (other than the price of course) is that this sucker is actually a hard tail! Well...I just had to play her for a bit...never played a hard tail Strat before, Squier, Fender or otherwise. Every Strat I've ever played has had a trem. I was actually quiet surprised...she plays pretty well. Of course she sounds like a Bullet...cheap pickups, cheap tuners, etc., but she has a rather amazing amount of sustain due to that hard tail.

Anyways, I figured I had not really gotten a birthday present last month so I figured what the hell...you can never have too many Strats! LOL!!! This brings the total up to 6 Strats now and a total of 25 guitars down in the studio. I'll probably keep this one and sell the Bullet that I bought last year as an impulse thing...if for no other reason than the hard tail. I already have some decent tuners for her and who knows...I'm going to a guitar show next month so I may even put some decent pickups in her.

BTW...I also picked up a Kustom 1x12 combo last month for $50. I picked up the amp to use with my acoustics until I can get a "real" acoustic amp, but for the money she does a pretty good job with my Ovation. This brings me up to 8 amps.

Anyways, like I said...I guess I should probably start seeking some professional help or something! LOL!!!

Just wanted to share...
Jim

I will try and get to it in the next day or two...I just found out my mother had to go back into a hospice today (she's dealing with cancer and it has recently moved into her brain) so I may be tied up with familly issues for a bit. If I don't get to it in the next couple of days, I'll go ahead and post the pics in a separate thread when I have time.

Peace,
Jim

Jim,

Take your time with those pics, take care of family business first. My prayers go out to you and your mother.

Yeah I can't walk into the guitar center with out picking something up...it's a "kid in a candy store" thing.
I am sorry to hear about your mother. I wish you and your family the best.

Don't worry about the pics, take care of whats important first....

BTW, my Squier addiction didn't end until after I purchased my 7th Squier (6 Teles, 1 Jagmaster).
