Hi!
Well what do you think about squier classic vibes 50's and 60's? Does it sound like john frusciantes fenders strat 1955 and 1962? Is this good guitar for begginer?

Welcome to the forums! From what I've heard around here they are great guitars for beginners or professionals! :)

Nothing sounds like anything. Each guitar has its own distinctive voice. :)

Especially considering you're comparing a pre-CBS Fender to Chinese made Squiers. But, they are fantastic guitars to the tenth power. I have played a Deluxe, Standard, and CV '60s, and I gotta say I liked the Deluxe better, but the '60s was mind boggling in sound and playability. I think you should get the Deluxe as they are cheaper and they sound nearly identical, but remember, each guitar is different.

The Deluxe is a real 'looker' with that maple fretboard, as well as the cv '50s. It's actually the only '50s replica cheap guitar that has olympic white as an option.

Absolutely love my CV 60. Beautiful guitar, crafted very well, and plays like a dream. As far as the RHCP sound, I do not know how to play any...so not sure if the tone is a perfect match. Never try to sound like someone else, just try to sound like yourself.

Is it a good guitar for a beginner...yes, I have been playing for almost 20 years and own one. The only thing you need to consider is: are you ready for other people telling you your Squier is a crap guitar? I love making people eat crow when they start in on me.

If its john fruisciante tones your after you will need a lot more than a CV strat. but its a really really good start bud! :)

i picked up the blue CV 50's strat only a month ago and i cant put it down although i'd recommend putting new tuning pegs on it.

If you wanna get those type of sounds your gonna need a tube amp (fruisciante uses a silver jubilee marshall and a JMP marshall) but those are big powerful amps and would cost you thousands so i'd recommend an orange tiny terror or a fender blues junior or a marshall 1974x something like that anyway (but if your a beginner hold off for a bit cos they are pricey and it will take a while for you to find "your sound" there are plenty of good solid state amps that will suit you fine for the time being)

if your just starting out the CV strat/tele is a really good choice im sure the deluxe is too as mentioned above but i've not had the pleasure of playing one.

Rock on!
