Ordered and received CV Duo Sonic from MF. Had to send it back...neck pickup not working. Gonna send a replacement of same, hopefully with both PU's functioning. Will update when replacement arrives.

I started a thread in the wrong forum about the Duo-Sonic and should have put it here. Just want to say how much I dig this guitar.

Great fret work, beautiful looking guitar, plays like butter, looks like butter-kind of.

Anyway the Classic Vibe series seems to be really high quality. I also have the 50s Classic Vibe bass and it is also sweet. My friend who's a bass player couldn't believe how nice it played and looked.

Just throwin' some Duo-Sonic love out there.

I concur, the Classic Vibe Duo-Sonic is one of the best guitars currently offered by Fender or Squier. I have always loved the deluxe Squiers as their price doesn't reflect the quality. The deluxe Squier guitars often play better than the name brand Fenders with price tags more than 3X as high. Whether it's the Series 24 guitars, the Master Series, or the current Classic Vibe Series, Squier continues to offer guitars that put their parent company to shame.

I currently want to get my hands on the new John 5 Squier as it looks incredible... I'm sure it plays even better!!!

you might check for fret buzz around the 12th to 15th frets, that was the only problem with mine. that and that i hate the tuners. great slide guitar, though

Got the replacement from MF yesterday...everything works this time around.
Love the neck. I bought a Jaguar from Werleins for Music (R.I.P. and a POX on Bitsy) in the 70's and it had a 24" scale neck, too. Wish I still had it!!!
