I got a Metallic Red Rosewood Affinity Squire, Frontman 15g practice amp, gig bag, original papers, extra strings, tags, and everything for $80.
At a garage sale.

The guitar is in brand new condition, but the only thing wrong with it is that the input jack is a bit unstable. I can easily get that fixed, though, so I'm not worrying about it. :P

I've already decided on a new name for it--Sterling.

Anyway.

I'll post a pic or two up here when I get the chance to take some. :D

This is my first actual electric Fender, so I'm pretty dangin' happy right now. 8)
My acoustic Fender is just amazing, and this guitar is no exception!! And the most awesome part about it is that my knock-off Fender electric sounds just as great as the Squier! All this time I thought it was the quality of the guitar, but it's just been my dinky little practice amp.
The Frontman amplifier is fantastic!! :D Although....there's no Reverb knob on it, which I kind of wanted, but hey, I'm not complainin'!! :P

Nice!! Hey man, it's pretty easy to fix the input jack yourself if it's just a little loose.

Take a screwdriver and remove the 2 screws holding the jack plate on. Pull the input assembly up a little and hold the backside of the jack with your hand. Then take a wrench and tighten the nut holding the input jack to the plate without letting the jack turn. That's it. You're done. Screw the plate back on the guitar. It's that simple.

And give the jack plug a "slight twist" when you pull it out each time. This seems to help the jack plug come out smoother and with less stress on the jack plate...

Man, that IS simple. :P Thanks a lot!! :D I'll try and fix it tomorrow, and hopefully my screwdriver won't slip and gouge a huge scratch down the body....

Alright, here're some pics of Sterling:

One of the Frontman 15G amp:

And the two together:

I'm sorry about the horrible quality of the pics. I had to take them with my cell phone a'cause the USB ports on my computer are busted, so I can't upload the photos I took with my actual camera. :(

Anyway, I hope these are decent enough for you to see what he looks like.

I have always been a hater of anything to do with Fender but last month I bought a Metallic blue Squier Affinity series fat strat and absolutely love it. I never had this feeling of wanting to play so much before I got this strat. Granted...the pickups are weak and the pickgaurd sucks but I am planning on changing it all out anyway. I absolutely love the way it feels when playing and the neck is OMG. I like your guitar and am sure you will enjoy it for many years to come.

Oh, and I forgot to post this yesterday:

Me and my Dad(he just twisted the jack until it was tight while I held the actual jack unit) fixed the input jack two days ago, and now Sterling's in perfect condition!! :D :P All thanks to the guys here for the info on how to fix it myself. 8)
