In my opinion, the Classic Vibe 60' is the best 8)

Both are good, I own the CV 60 and love it.

Get the Squier by Fender Stratocaster Deluxe. I looked at all the models you have listed including the American and Mexican Strats as well yet chose the Deluxe due to it's Duncan Designed pickups and smooth as silk neck. You can always add a "hot rails" type dual coil humbucker pickup. I did, it cost $25.00 off ebay and fit where the single coil bridge pickup was originally. The Squier Stratocaster Deluxe is the best bang for the buck in my opinion. There are a couple listed under $175.00 and that's with shipping right now on ebay. I think I saw one for $125, a "trade in" in excellent condition located in North Carolina. Get it while the gettings good. You won't be disappointed.

The Squier Deluxe I mentioned is still available on ebay. There is one day and nineteen hours left on the auction as I write this. It's a 2008 pearl white Squier Stratocaster in excellent condition, $159.00 or best offer + $19.00 for shipping. Make an offer of $125 and see if he'll take it. You can negotiate a price. Like I said before this is an excellent guitar I love mine and if you really want a humucker at the bridge you can pick it up on ebay for $25 and that includes the shipping. You can always buy a fully wired SSH pickguard there as well. For the guitar go to ebay and search under "musical instruments " and type these terms in the search bar, "Fender Squier Deluxe Stratocaster". You'll never regret purchasing this model.

Just got my Squier '51 two weeks ago and I love it. I already have a Squier Deluxe Strat but wanted that "humbucker" tone. You'll love the '51.

I would have to go with the CV 50's But that's because I prefer maple necks over rosewood. I've been eyeing a Daphne Blue Deluxe for a while. That cherry sunburst vintage modified is sweet If it only had a maple neck. 8) To Many Guitars Not Enough Cash. 8)

Congrats on the promotion, I love my CV 60's. I have the Sunburst. I think the pickups are a little hotter, hopefully they will suit your musical taste. I play Rock, Metal, Blues with no problems.
