just a quick question

what wood is the Squier affinity series HSS the one that comes in the "stop dreaming, start playing" kit, (with the bullet 150 amp) made out of?

I've heard people say its a laminate body.

Is there any way of me checking without removing a whole lot of my guitar?

thanks in advance,

You need to specify another wood. Hardwood could be anything.

Agathis is deasent wood, I had a BC Rich Warlock with one. I prefer the Alder wood, just has a better feel. Agathis is better than plywood.

I agree that Alder is better. The only advantage of agathis IMO is that it is lighter than Alder.

alright, thanks everybody.
just wondered i couldnt tell from the body cavities due to everything being painted.

and wasnt sure if it was this "laminated" (plywood =P) because a friend of mine has a very similar guitar to mine, and the body cavities showed very distinct layers of wood...

hmm, well agathis is better than laminate so i'm happy.
