sprakle jags are pretty rare, but deryck whybley tele's are !@$. if that's your style, go right ahead, but you can't get near the variety of a dubl hum, with a single hum... plus it has maple neck.

Its true, they are simple and not very versatile but i mainly play pop punk and am in a pop punk band so i really dig the single hum setup. I mainly use a Fender Tom Delonge strat but just wanted a back-up. Bought this jag but i don't really like how the body is so big.

you are a weiner. you love those guitars because those douche heads play them. that's why. the delonge is a cool guitar. the whybley is a douch guitar. the squier is more pop punk because it has a $@!&#* $@! pickup in it. you don't need versatility, i get it, because that music is not versatile. if you want a sham guitar to make yer sham music. trade. but you can get more "PUNK" toanz through a jagmaster, i'm afraid.

Keep the silver sparkle - it was a color that was rare and sought after while the 25.5 inch scale Jagmasters were still being made.

Besides, having two signature models in your arsenal shows a lack of originality.

I also have a SS Jagmaster, with black pickguard and knobs. It`s still a beautiful guitar, and sounds great through my SCXD. Don`t know how old it is, anyone have any idea? Jim W4KBD
