You know I just did a gig this weekend. Had a Fender Jaguar for a single coil guitar, a Gibson Les Paul, and the Jagmaster. After tuning up after every song for five songs I put the Les down and used the Jag all night. A $250 Chinese guitar outperforming a $1000 Gibson.

No surprise to me, as Gibsons can be overrated and overpriced. They are overpriced because they have to research and develop such brilliant innovations as a robot guitar and pay for lawyers cause they sue someone every few months. And the best thing Gibson did a few years back was give Kiefer Sutherland a signature guitar...and of course, we all know Kiefer didn't pay for the R&D on that, those costs got passed along to the consumer as well, but its worth it because Kiefer Sutherland is the best d*mn guitarist in the world. Hendrix, Clapton, Page, Van Halen are just a bunch of wannabes compared to the guitar god Kiefer Sutherland...cause we all know that the kids today are all putting themselves on youtube showing off their killer Kiefer licks...

I was planning on getting one.Would you suggest it. Is it good for it's price?
I was also wondering if it would be good for someone who normally plays on 3 single pickups? I have also played on doubles. Is there a difference?
