I have a nice Squier Affinity that is passing in front of me that I am considering modding into a double-fat Strat...

1) What is the body route in an Affinity? Can I do an HH configuration?

2) I know the Affinity body size is different from a normal Strat (right?). Considering this, are there options for upgrading the entire bridge, or at least the tremblock?

I dont think it's different, man. I've got one. You know, for an HH, the pickup slot for the neck might come short, and you might have to cut some wood if you want gibson paf picks on your strat. But it would look awesome.

Think of the affinity as a late 70's strat.

Definitely a good guitar to work on, change the pickups, and so forth.

I kinow the affinity tele's are thinner than the standard. Which could be a bit of a problem with the trem block on a strat. Check it out before you buy parts Good luck
