Post subject: Customize your Squier??

I have 2006 squier deluxe strat (basswood body)..i just installed her with 57/62 pickup..the sound amaze me..what other thing that i should change to enhance the sound..teach me pls...i'm newbie.. :D

and post what you have done with ur squier...
just tell me for my reference..hah!

Look at your guitar and everything you see could be changed or enhanced...tuners are a good place to start though...be careful however...if you decide to move on after putting a bunch of $$$ into your guitar, you will not get back what you put into her.

Unless there is something that obviously needs to get changed out, I wouldn't worry about it too much, cause if it ain't broke (or funky) don't fix it...Though it you really are in a modding mood, I would suggest looking at replacement bridges or string saddles...maybe a new nut...and lots of people seem to have issues with Squier tuners, though I have not had any issues with the 7 Squiers I own, but some would suggest you change those out too.
