i PURCHASED A SQUIR STRAT AND WHEN I WAS PLAYING IN MY BAND IT WOULD JUST FEED BACK.

I COULD NOT TAKE IT SO I PUT REAL STRAT PICKUPS IN IT AND IT IS AMAZING.

SO WHEN YOU BY THIS GUITAR DONT USE IT FOR PLAYING IN A BAND

GLAD YOU FIXED IT. I HAVE ONE, AND I GET NO FEEDBACK WHEN I PLAY WITH MY BAND-MATES. IT MAY HAVE BEEN BAD PICKUPS OR AS LOOSE WIRE THAT WAS CORRECTED WITH NEW PICKUPS.

Have a great day and enjoy your guitar.

I don't prefer to use my squier, but if it's put through the right amp, you can get by with it. Feedback? I never get any, on either of my guitar. True, I never use it at high volumes, though. Maybe if you stood further away?

I hope that the feedback you guys are refering to is that buzz that most single coil guitars do. Fenders do that too. This is what humbuckers usually correct.

I have HWY 1 and a Classic Vibe. Both have that single coil hum in the 1,3, and 5 positions. You either get used to it, or put noiseless or humbucking pups in it.

The only time I ever get true feedback is when I am too close to my amp while playing really loud. If you are that close, I hope you have earplugs in while you play.
