I just got this in the mail today.
I love this thing. It actually sounds pretty good, I will have to fight myself not to customize it.....

Nice maple neck. Hope the pickups sound good as good as they look. Keep the covers if you can. Maybe you can use a zebra humbucker for the the bridge if the Fernandez falls through. Are you staying with the hardtail or will it have a trem?

I'm fighting myself on customizing it....
I have been playing it for a few days and it really is a sweet little guitar.

Always good to have one guitar that is not modifyed. Especially if it's not giving you any trouble. There are so many other guitars out there that need TLC.

Enjoy playing it,

I couldn't resist whacking some brass saddles on mine - it was so bright sounding!

One of my students has that guitar, I was impressed with it. The neck felt really fat to me though. But I really dig the color and 'vibe' the guitar has.

congrats on your new guitar. Looks like a nice collection too. The one on the couch with the reverse headstock really got my attention too.

That's my Squier Vista Supersonic.
reverse jag, kinda thing.

The neck isn't bad, not a bad student guitar. Good for grab and strum.
-Thanks!

Sweeeeeet. Looks great (along with all of your guitars). You got a great collection there.

Ha! I whipped them off again and put the originals back on!
The brass ones I had didn't seem to be long enough, and so they were travelling when string bending.

I don't know if the squier ones are slightly longer than standard?

Anywhoo, I'm pretty happy with the originals, as it's such a sensitive little guitar, where you strum can have a huge effect on the sound.

I've been playing classic series Fenders for years and so the bigger frets took a bit of getting used to (especially since I really strangle my guitars, it would seem, and tend to pinch the strings out of tune if I'm not careful)

But it's a great guitar for a squier - great pups and tuners.
