I've played them and I really like them. I was going to buy one a year ago, but they were asking too much at GC for it. It was a bolt on too.
They were you basic 24 fret, floyd rose, reverse headstock shredder axe.
Some were bolt on, some were neck through. They had seveal pick up configurations: HSS, HH, HSH. I think there was a 7 string version too...

I found a silver neck through HH for $125 on craigslist that I'm seriously considering.

Were these made in the same plant that made the MIK Fender Showmasters? The Fender Showmaster and the Squier Stagemaster are very similar guitars with similar names, and both MIK.

That, I'm not sure of. The one pic of the one I posted is from early 2000's, and that era was about the last I saw of them.

I've heard it referred to as "a shredders axe" but not into that so wouldn't know. I do like the neck better than the Strat - alot faster and easier on the fingers.

The pickups screw directly into the body and that seems to give it a different tone. Plus can use an angled plug. The Floyd Rose can be frustrating to change strings and tune though.

Oh yea, the neck and heel are one it's best parts.

I have a set neck Korean model, HH Floyd Rose Superstrat design that i fitted an active EMG 81 pickup in the bridge. Love it!
I have been playing 20 years and i dare say its the best Superstrat i have owned. It sits proudly alongside US and Vintage Fenders easily in my collection.

They sell in the UK for anything between £80 to £250. I believe there is a 'shocking pink' model on UK ebay at the moment.

Cheers, Yeah, to say its a patent Floyd Rose it is very smooth and never goes out of tune. The guitar feels solid due to the set neck and the EMG makes it complete. I like to play all kinds of music but this is my number one 'Metal' guitar, i prefer it to the Ibanez and Jacksons i have owned in the past.

Not the greatest pic but its here
