Very nice. I just found a new QMT Squier, I may buy it and post its photo. I haven't seen a QMT since the new year ...almost (it seems).

That's a stunning guitar. I missed out on buying one about a year ago, and I've regretted it ever since. To quote Ferris Bueller, "It is so choice. If you have the means, I highly recommend picking one up. " 8)

Well Russianracehorse, I could tell you who has it but I don't want to get in trouble. I'm fairly certain that I don't want one because I have an Affinity and it isn't enough of a upgrade to Standard to warrant its purchase. You do know that it is a Standard Series and not a deluxe series. When I first located it I figured that was wrong (it says standard on the headstock) but when I found a MF or ZZounds picture it too says standard.. then I realized it was a deluxe Standard and not a Deluxe series. It litterally is only one step up from what I have now so I can't just do it.

Hey Gomania16. Thanks for getting back to me. I agree that it wouldn't be worth it now. I bought a beautiful Squier Standard Strat in Candy Apple Red. I really like it, and the QMT wouldn't really constitute much of an upgrade for me either.

Sure is pretty though.

Hey FrancoAC, how do you like that Pro Tone Stratocaster? I have the oppotunity to buy a 5 string Precision bass that is the twin of your Strat(Red finish, gold hardware, pearl guard). What do you think of it? I can pick it up for $300 and it is in excellent shape. Think that is a good deal??

Hi there,
New to the forum, in search of information about a guitar I bought used. It is a Squire Strat made in Korea, and the serial numbe is E927520.
After learning how the Floyd Rose trem was supposed to be configured I bought the missing parts, put new strings on, cleaned the electrics inside the back with a de-ox, and tuned it up, locked it down.
It actually has a pretty nice sound, and is nice and quiet after cleaning the electrics.
Have not seen another with the jack on the edge of the body, thinking it's a pretty cheap one and not worth much attention. Still, it sounds pretty good.

Thanks
